Black Hawk Down

Okay Fooo! I'm back to blog again, Today i didn't had much to do, except accompanying Sheralene back from her work place and then to Greenridge for dinner... We had prata, we had chicken rice, we had barley... BURP! Super full! Haha! So, since that outing wasn't enough to fill up 1 post for the blog, i decided to blog on something which just came to my mind.



I'm currently watching 'Black Hawk Down' on AXN. I don't know why, but each time i watch this particular show, i will have alot of insane and crazy thoughts inside of me! Haha! The movie 'Black Hawk Down' was released in 2001, and i assume most of you guys have watched it and will agree that the whole show is very touching and very sad.

However, for those of you who have missed out on this wonderful show, here is a short review made by me about the movie and hopefully, if it does interest you, you may watch it on VCD or DVD :)

The movie is based on a real life event. It is basically about how a group of United States rangers is given a mission of extracting certain targets from a certain location in Somalia (a country/place near Pakistan) and transport them back to Pakistan, a safe zone for the Americans. Somalia at that time is a country which is considered to be in chaos and has alot of corruption and is under the evil dictatorship of some guy, whose name i've already forgotten. lol



These rangers thought that it would be another easy mission, but they were dead wrong. In the process of extracting these targets, they encountered very stiff resistance from the entire city. These people were heavily armed with AK-47s and RPG (Rocket Propelled Grenades). As a result of which, alot of unexpected events occured, for example, 2 black hawks (helicopters) being shot down and therefore, required additional 'search and rescue' effort for these rangers which are already in danger of being over-runned by the entire city. They had to make a choice, of risking their life and saving their friends or do they want to sit and watch as their friends get killed...

Alot of significant and hidden meanings are encrypted all inside the flim, must watch it man guys! You wouldn't know what you missing lei!

My Thoughts:

Arh! this movie is probably my most favourite movie of all time probably because i am a boy and i like gun battles and all these war stuff. Okay, thats pure bullshit, because probably because i dream myself as a hero =x. Doesn't everyone? HeeHee! They say war is ugly, but i think its rather cool lei if I can actually die with style as a soldier, like they capture you, den torture you, but still you don't divulge any information of your comrades. Haha! Like will die with super honour like that because everyone will respect and remember you, Don't you agree? Take for example, World War II, those War Heros are all over history textbooks and still being discussed in exam papers. Haha! But i think if my face in history textbooks, sure the students will make fun and probably draw on it, or worst still, the usual nerd wouldn't even wanna read my story because of my face! hahahaha! Okok, just KIDDING ok! Ignore the bullshit i wrote above :)

Ahh! There's one scene in the entire movie that i love talking about okay. This is the part whereby 2 Snipers from a black hawk volunteers to go down in order to secure the perimeter of another crash site and save the pilot, who actually survived the crash. They knew that they would probably die, as reinforcement are miles away, yet they still volunteered and the way they shoot is super cool la! Imagine, fire 1 shot and walk away without even seeing, because you know that that particular shot will have already kill the enemy la! hahaha!



Oh yah, in the end, sadly, both snipers were killed, as there were too many people fighting against them and one of them actually got his dead body stripped and then flung around as if, these people were indicating that they are the victors. Sighs, very sad lor.

Nvm Nvm Yeah! At least that guy saved the pilot? =) Eh, talking all these also reminds me the time when i played this game "WORLD COMBAT" with my 3 other friends, Hadi, Shah, Hilmi and myself, we pictured ourselves as heros and 'cheonged' throughout the game, but eventually we ended up spending more and more, because some stages are rigged and it was only later that we learnt that we need to play humji in order to win. Now i'm a pro at this game, hahaa, Sheralene can attest to that!

Ahh! Okok, i guess i'm boring you guys la! I'll end the post here for today okay? Good nights People! Hahaha!

Thanks Sheralene

Today i woke up around 11am, needed to enrol the stupid IS module thingy on MEL, however, in my few years in poly, i have NEVER ever enrolled in such stuff before, i always asked Sheralene to do it for me because she is quick and she always do it for me without me telling her.

What a nice girl! Haha! I really don't know what will my academic results be without you! LOL!. :) So this part of the post for today is specially dedicated to Sheralene for helping me with the so mafan, hassling, stupid enrolment thingy.

Today went out with Shah to Plaza Singapura to collect back his HELLO MOTO-rola phone
After that we took a bus down to Clementi and boared another bus to Jurong West St 42, Where my old secondary School is. Hmm...Each time i walk past Starbucks, there is always this intention of breaking my fast la, although i have already skipped my fast for 2 days, this is already the 5th day and still i am having all these thoughts each time i walk past it.

I kept mutterring Shah each time we walked past starbucks, "Eh...Butoh la! Aku nak minum Starbucks sial." which basically translates to "Knn la! I Wanna drink starbucks la! Argh!" (i also dunno how u can literally drink starbucks, but never mind, when we speak, we dun think so much, we just talk whatever rubbish that comes to mind). Argh! I am gonna drink starbucks tommorow as soon as i walk past it!

Okay, den reached Jurong West St 42, where there is this bazaar thing. During the fasting month, there will be bazaars located in various locations in Singapore, the purpose is to enable people who are working to buy home food in order for them to break fast. Haha, but as i walked past the stores, i see also all not very nice. The food looked cold, stale and certainly not eye-grabbing. Haha, but in the end i still bought 1 packet of Bandung and $2 worth of "Kueh Lapis" and my main dinner, a packet of chicken rice!

Hmm. Okay la, thats about it for the day, glad that Sheralene helped some of my other friends to enrol in their choices also :) she is really very very helpful, Guys (Aza, AnAn, Kian, Fel, Liang,Yan, Cal, Gina ZL...basically everyone who never meet her), i will intro her to u soon okok? i think she can be v.useful in our outings, we need a motherly figure to take care of us. LOL, and she can be crazy also..so quite fun :)

Okay, i am suffering from liangzeitis now, which basically makes a person have random thoughts and do something crazy.

Below are some photos around my place, this is to show you the "Before" pictures of my house, this is the typical pig-sty there i have to return to each day. After the fasting month and the spring cleaning season, i will show you the "After" photos and you can see the difference. Haha. For regular visitors like Shah, he is used to it and i think he will contribute to some of the mess also, so yah :) hahahaha

Dont ask me WHY I do this! I am MAD! hahahahaha! I wanna show my house is messy! i want and need someone to clean my house for me :'( :'(

Can you believe it? I suddenly found back my old watch and i thought that it was gone forever...

Initially, i thought/concluded/'theoried' that...

1) My fossil watch was left in school on the table and someone took it after that
2) My sister friend came over and took my fossil watch?

but instead...

It was behind my father's speakers.... =X

Would like to display the picture of where i found it here, but i think if u see the amount of dust inside, u wun wanna talk to me le, cause my house dirty :( sobx!

That goes to show that how messy my place is. I think i wanna employ somebody to help me clean up. Hahaha. But surprisingly, every time Hari Raya comes, my friends who come over always say "isk, ur house v.clean", hahaha..but they dunno that my house is very dirty actually! clothes, books and magazines almost everywhere! hahaha! dun worry, i will confirm invite you guys over and you guys can judge my bed room and my house for yourself K? hahaha :) Its only natural that i am very messy. I am a guy? =x

Okay! Haha, just now went to put soccer bet on Sporting Lisbon against CSKA Moscow, hopefully that the portugese club will win and i will huat! PLEASE win! :)

A new beginning


Okay fooo!

Iskandar is back once again blogging. Almost everyone i knew asked me what happened to my blog, only then did i realised how important i was to everyone. Sighs, its really not easy to be me!

Okay, where shall i start? Ahh, i can't really remember much, but i will start with what i can remember okay? =)

Past few days, went down to Queensway with Kian and Fel to do some shopping, well, everyone at least purchased something, with Kian spending on shoes and a very nice NIKE shirt, felicia on some be-link, be-links, and yours truly spending on 2 very very nice NIKE Manchester United shirts, totalling around $80.

Being the first day of the fasting month, Ramadan, i had to fast, because i always will fast on the first day and on e last day, so that when people ask me if i fast, i can tell them, yes i fast the whole month! LOL! its a dirty trick, but at least it works. Ahh! After that, proceeded down to Ikea and walked a bit before gobbling down 2 hotdogs and a nice dinner at a nearby hawker centre. Its great! Shopping till we drop! LOL!

X days ago, Accompanied Sheralene down to town to walk walk and shop shop.
haha, first brought her to New York New York for lunch, where she ate some pasta rubbish while i ate the half chicken set. It was a great set meal! Really must go there again ya?

After that, the fat couple went to walk walk around Suntec, to Marina and from Marina, back to suntec again where I bought something sweet for Sheralene, but of course i won't mention it here. Haha, its super shy la can? =x

After that, send her home so that she can catch Singapore Idol while Isk went to Mac and gobbled down a nice Filet-o-fish meal, the auntie at the macdonald asked if i was fasting, and i said of course, she gave me a free upsize! super nice right? hahahaha!

Went home after that, managed to catch Singapore Idol, much to my surprise, Hady won again. Haha, Taufik and Hady can go drink big gulp! together gether! Sheralene and Aza were among some of the people whom i knew that were apparently was furious because Jon didn't win, hahaha. Relax okay guys, its just a stupid competition?

I suddenly pondered, what would be the outcome if there was ISK in the competition and lets say if i can make it to the Final 3, okay la, too far-fetched, but just assume la...okay, i know u guys must be laughing or sniggering now, stop it...! Anyway, if that was the case, i think i will be the eventual winner la, because i think although i dun haf the looks or the voice, at least i am a true singaporean right? hahaha! A mixture of chinese and malay. Although they say Chinese + Malay guys are normally very good looking, but i also dunno why i like that? nvm la. god is fair, maybe next time i go plastic surgery le den will look like Tom Cruise. :)

Quite an exhausting but nevertheless an enjoyable day today :)

Okay, den yesterday right, went to Plaza Sing with Shah and Qing to repair his Hello! Motorola phone. Haha, the guy serving Shah looks exactly like Ken Lim, one of the Singapore Idol judges la and the 3 of us were like making fun of him. I think he knew la, cause his face suddenly became gloomy and his attitude became rather irritated after that. "Success!" Another unhappy customer service officer! LOL!

Ahh! Another great shopping day with those 2, bought REEF Slippers and my FOSSIL watch! hahaha! Finally got them! Yay! After that went back home to break fast and finally & officially fasted for my 2nd official day! LOL!

Went to school today to accompany Sheralene to collect her money for the IMF work that she done! LOL. pretty fast i must say, cause i guess she was the only one who went at 3pm. Anyway, went back to BP where she had the new cheesy bandito, and i must say, it taste pretty nice. Heez. its my first time trying it though, so thats why

After that rushed back home to eat!

Thoughts/Feelings:

I think i am really getting better at Daytona la, i finally learnt how to master my drift skills for the Advanced Stage le, i know that on my day, i will be able to beat Kian liao. I shall and i will

Army letter arrived. Dead! I think somehow that i will fall down and die due to heart failure in army, look at the amount of fats that i have in my body now! Sighs!

I will learn to be a better isk to everyone K? wun try to be so bastardy liao from now on :) U guys take care and PLEASE please TAG to let me know u're still reading k? =)
